Bryan Hernandez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Corsicana on Feb. 11, 2026.

Bryan Witsiliwit Hernandez, lovingly known as "Witzy," age 30, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Corsicana, Texas. He was born on February 21, 1995, in Río Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico, and carried his roots, culture, and family pride with him throughout his life.

Witzy graduated from Rice High School in 2014 and went on to work as a construction worker, where he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed. A devoted Catholic, Witzy lived his faith through kindness, generosity, and love for others.

Witzy had a creative soul. He loved to draw and paint, finding peace and expression through his art. He also enjoyed driving the backroads of Rice while listening to music, moments that brought him joy and reflection. Above all else, Witzy treasured time with his family, his girlfriend, and his children, who were the center of his world.

He is survived by his loving parents, Israel Hernandez and Ma Rita Contreras Hernandez; his beloved girlfriend, Elizabeth Oliver Loe; and his precious children, Ander Emmanuel Hernandez and Elih Nicholas Hernandez, whom he adored deeply.

Witzy was a caring, loving, and selfless person who always put others before himself. He loved his family dearly-especially his mother, who meant everything to him-and his love for his children was unmatched. He found happiness in simple joys, like trying new places to eat with Elizabeth, sharing laughter, and helping others whenever he could.

He will be remembered most for his smile, his love for music, his devotion to family, and the deep love he had for his children. Witzy carried countless stories from his life both here and in Mexico-stories filled with childhood memories, friendships, and moments shared with his siblings and his mom. Those memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Though his life was far too short, Witzy's legacy of love, kindness, and family devotion will never fade.
