Bryan Tevlin MacDonough, 82 of Laurel Springs NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by
his family on January 4, 2025. He bravely fought Parkinsons Disease. He was born on
October 31, 1942, in Flasgstaff AZ to the late John Edward and Gertrude Webster
MacDonough (Scully). In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister
JonWebster Scheid and is survived by his brother Peter MacDonough.
Bryan graduated from Gonzaga University in 1964 as a ROTC Graduate. He loved March
Madness, watching Gonzaga play every chance he could. He entered the US Army after
college where he served for 20 years retiring as a Major. He took great pride in his military
career where he was a Platoon leader, Special Forces Vietnam Veteran who courageously
survived Hill 875. He did 2 tours in Vietnam and was a decorated hero receiving 2 bronze
stars and a purple heart.
As a private citizen, Bryan successfully had numerous companies. He also participated in
the Rotary Club in Blackwood, NJ.
Bryan is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Fredrica Alberta MacDonough (Polumbo).
His daughters, Christine Stewart (Gary), Heather Kosnick (Scott) and Angela Giacherio;
four granddaughters, Danielle Stewart, Jenna Kosnick, Lindsay Kosnick and Amber Otto;
and 2 greatgrandchildren Caden Otto and Alice Otto.
A private internment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery for family on January 17. 2025
Family and friends may call on the family on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 12 pm at Roma's
Italian Restaurant 3 President Dr, Dover DE where a luncheon will be held in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Wounded Warriors, P.O. Box 758516,
Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
