Bryan Keith "Butch" Norris

A Bardstown resident, Mr. Bryan Keith "Butch" Norris, age 68, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Cardinal Health in Lexington. He was born February 14, 1957, in Bardstown to the late Charles William and Mary Clark Norris. He was a 1976 graduate of Bardstown High School and was in the submarine service of the United States Navy. Butch was a retired employee of Glenn's Commercial Service where he was a licensed journeyman HVAC mechanic for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Megan Ellegood, 5 brothers, Henry B., J. Raphael, Truman, Curtis and Roscoe Norris, and a sister, Joanne Donahue Korink.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lamb, daughter, Sheila (Thomas) Kennett of Madison, Indiana, 5 stepchildren, Michael (Harold) Campbell of Louisville, Johnny Bohannon of Trimble County, Joanne Bohannon of Oldham County, Kathy (Wayne) Warren of Henry County, Lisa Lamb of Santa Rosa, CA., 2 brothers, Garry Norris and Tim Norris, both of Bardstown, 6 sisters, Norma Jean (Charles) Higdon of Ohio, Carolyn (Brad) Deep, Alice Marie Coulter, Helen (Tom) Hall, all of Bardstown, Clara (Jim) Gunning and Connie (Bill) Padgett, both of Hodgenville, as well as 11 grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Visitation for Mr. Bryan Keith "Butch" Norris will be Friday, August 29, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Cremation will follow the service. The Houghlin-Greenwell funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
