Alfreda Necker

A Cox's Creek resident, Mrs. Alfreda Necker, age 67 passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born August 11, 1958, in Logan, West Virginia to the late Dallas Dingess and Madeline Vannatter Dingess. She was a homemaker who loved flowers and decorating of all kinds. Alfreda also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her friends and family during the holidays making memories.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Pepper and a sister, Burma Nielsen. Alfreda is survived by her husband, Robert Necker, Jr., a daughter, Marie (Dustin) Pepper of Bardstown, four sons, Robert (Jacqueline) Pepper of Michigan, Kyle Necker of Cox's Creek, Robert E. Necker III of Michigan and Eric Necker of Tennessee, three sisters, Marie (James) VanHoose of Cox's Creek, Clara Digness of Michigan, and Stephanie (Hector) Hinojosa of Michigan, three brothers, Daniel (Brenda) Dingess of West Virginia, Dallas Dingess of Michigan, and Joseph (Erica) Leannais of Michigan, four grandchildren and one great grandchild also survives.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Alfreda Necker will be at 5:00 pm, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, Bro. Mickey Sexton officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home at 1475 New Shepherdsville Road is in charge of arrangements.
