Bryan Joseph Owens

Bryan J. Owens, age 60, passed away peacefully the evening of Sunday, September 21, 2025, with his family at his side. Born in Warwick, he was a son of Irving 'Jess' Owens and Emily M. (Hartley) Owens. Bryan was the devoted father of Jake Owens and the brother of Michael and Kelly Owens. He was the former husband of Gina (Lupo) Owens.

Bryan began his career with the Warwick Fire Department in 1986 as a Private First Class. Through the years he worked his way up, first as a Rescue Lieutenant and then as a Rescue Captain before his retirement in 2016 after 30 years of service. In his free time, he could often be found working on cars, most notably his 1969 Camaro or cruising on his 2003 Harley-Davidson Firefighters Special Road King. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Bryan will be missed tremendously by all those who had the privilege to know and love him.

His funeral will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 at 8:45am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Rita Church, 722 Oakland Beach Ave., Warwick. Interment will immediately follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
