Buddy Gene Kiebler, a cherished soul whose quiet strength and deep-rooted values left an indelible mark on all who knew him, passed away on November 16, 2025, at ProMedica Monroe Hospital. Born on June 6, 1934, in Monroe, Buddy was the son of William and Ruth (Juckett) Kiebler. He married the love of his life, Darlene Herkimer, on December 1, 1962. Sadly she preceded him in death November 20, 2021. Buddy lived a life rich with purpose and dedication, touching the lives of many along the way.
Retiring after more than 35 years from Ford Motor Company, Buddy was not only an industrious worker but also a lifelong farmer. His connection to the land and devotion to hard work was a testament to his character. While he may have been a man of few words, his actions spoke volumes about his unwavering commitment to family and community.
Buddy was a proud member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 884 in Monroe, where he fostered camaraderie and friendship among fellow members. Throughout life, he held onto enduring values and principles that will forever be remembered by those he leaves behind.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Karen Kiebler, Renee (Scott Kecskes) Kiebler, and Joan (Wade) Hill, along with his grandchildren, Alee (Jake Kinsland) Hill and Banty (Shianna LaBell) Hill. Each of them carries forward his legacy of love and perseverance. The bond of family, a cornerstone of Buddy's existence, will continue to thrive through their memories, laughter, and stories shared.
In addition to his wife and parents, Buddy is preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Bill, and Russ, who await him in eternal rest. Together, they now share the peace that Buddy has so sincerely earned.
As we remember Buddy Gene Kiebler, we honor a man whose spirit, though quiet, resonated deeply within those he loved. His legacy will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
