Monte K. Jackson

Monte K. Jackson, age 72, of Maybee, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 16, 2026.

Monte was born May 23, 1953 in Jackson, Michigan. He was the son of Richard E. and Vreta M. (Huff) Jackson. He married Julia M. Niedzielski and after she passed, he married Norine A. Yinger November 15, 1991. He worked for Double Eagle Steel Coating Company before his retirement. Monte was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance. Monte is survived by his wife Norine; two daughters, Lisa (Gregg) Parrish and Sara (David) Shefferly; five grandchildren, Zachary, Penelope, Emma, Alexis and Gavin; and five siblings, Burt (Peg) Jackson, Robert (Mary) Jackson, Allen (Nina) Jackson, Virginia (Bruce) VonWald and Cheryl (Pat) Dunnahoo; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brian D. Jackson.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Crandell Funeral Home, 1109 East Court St., White Cloud, MI 49349. Visitation will continue Wednesday in the hall at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 965 Newell St., White Cloud, MI, Monte will then be moved to the church for a Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Stanwood, MI.
