Mr. Buddy Talmadge Phillips, Sr., 60, husband of Debra Goss Phillips, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
Born in Pickens County, the son of the late Noah Talmadge Phillips and the late Jo Ann Meece Phillips, Mr. Phillips was a graduate of Easley High School and attended New Image Church. He owned and operated, alongside of his loving family, Buddy's Towing and Recovery.
Buddy enjoyed cars and all forms of racing and especially loved his work. His greatest love was for his family and spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew him.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of twenty-eight years, are his children, Buddy "B.J." Talmadge Phillips, Jr. and his daughter, Shelby Rose Phillips, of Easley; his daughter, LeeAnne Phillips Moreno (Alex), and their children, Talmadge Moreno and Niko Moreno, all of Liberty; and his mother-in-law, Mary Goss Fields of Easley.
The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025 at New Image Church, Easley. Hotrods and Tow Trucks will line up at the church at 3:30 PM, prior to the service.
