Buddy Dean Savage

Buddy Dean Savage, age 75, of Ware Shoals, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital, Middlesboro, KY, surrounded by his children.

Buddy was born November 26, 1950, in Lula, GA, to the late John Henry Savage and Betty Gladys Shockley Savage.

He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, Buddy found joy in the open road and the thrill of adventure. Fishing was a favorite pastime, providing him with the peace of nature and the joy of reeling in a catch. Most of all, Buddy's heart belonged to his children and grandchildren. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and relished in sharing moments of laughter and love with them. He was a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Buddy could often be heard cheering passionately, embodying the spirit of "How bout them Dogs!"

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Deanna Musgrove of TX, Marlana (David) Ferrazza of VA and Jason Dean (Lindsay) Savage of SC; sisters, Diane Barrett and Debbie Haynes; grandchildren, Alyssa Paige Gilliam, Aidan Kaarlie, Colt Michael Ferrazza, Kinsley Ferrazza, Addison Layken Savage and Emberly River Savage, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Buddy's spirit will continue to inspire, reminding us of the importance of kindness, community, and the joy of living life to the fullest. Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy will live on in the fond memories we hold dear. Per Buddy's request, all services will be private.
