Buddy William Wilkins

Buddy William Wilkins, 91, of Winnebago, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Serenity Home in Oregon. Born December 17, 1934, in Risco, MO. the son of William Albert and Silvia (Parmley) Wilkins. Bud married Shirlene Carson on September 2, 1959 in Geneva, IL. she predeceased him on August 30, 2000. He served his country in the army. Buddy worked for over 30 years as an engineer for the county highway department. He was a member of Pelley Road Christian Fellowship. Buddy served as church treasurer and enjoyed traveling with the church group. He was very artistic and enjoyed painting.

Survived by daughters, Karen (Randy) Keilback and Donna (Lance) Langholf; grandchildren, Ryan Keilback, Kori Windom, Alexander Keilback, Rachel (Joseph) Bronkema, Luke (Sara) Langholf, Tyler Wilkins, Nickolas Wilkins, Jeremy Wilkins, Lindsey Grider, and Brenda Horstman. Also predeceased by parents; sisters, Mabel White, and Roberta Johnson; and son, David Wayne Wilkins.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. On Monday, April 6, 2026 at Genandt Chapel, 602 North Elida Street, Winnebago, IL 61088. Private family burial will be at Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery in Pecatonica. Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice and Home 1658 Illinois Route 2, Oregon, IL 61061.
