Buford New Obituary
Mr. New was born in Sandersville, Georgia on April 8, 1927, to the late Buford New and Kate Hall New. He was the Finance Manager at Hardwick Finance. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Boyd New. Mr. New was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son Randall A. New (Cynthia) of Milledgeville, a daughter Peggy N. Coots (Steve Kramer) of Winchester, KS, two sisters Gloria J. Jones of Blairsville, and Erin N. Brantley of Jessup, five grandchildren, Amanda Roenfeld (Chris). Diana Riner (Jesse), Ashley Shafer (Brian), Corey New (Leslie) and Melissa Young (Matt) and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to Georgia Military College Foundation, Bill Craig Scholarship Fund.
