August 24, 1939 – November 23, 2024
Kinston-Burlene Oliver Ipock, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Burlene was born in Lenoir County on August 24, 1939 to the late Sam and Mae Osteen Oliver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Ipock, Sr.
A service of love and remembrance will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the mausoleum chapel at Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the hour prior to service.
Burlene is survived by her sons, Robert Lee Ipock, Jr. and close friend, Wanda Emory, Kirk Alan Ipock and wife, Lynette, and Gregory Keith Ipock and significant other, Debra King; 3 grandsons; 6 great-grandchildren; and her loving dog, Linby.
The family wishes to extend their deep appreciation to Debra King for her constant and devoted care of Burlene during her declining health.
