C. Albert Holden Jr. 74, formally from Egg Harbor Twp, NJ left this world on September 25, 2018 after a difficult battle with liver disease. Al, "Bud", as his family and friends knew him, was born on October 12, 1943 in Camden N.J. He grew up in the Marlton area of NJ, and spent over 40 years in Egg Harbor Twp. before moving to VA. He is predeceased by his parents, Charlotte and C. Albert Holden Sr., his older adopted brother Bill Kidd, as well as his long missed 4 legged furry friends.

Al graduated high school in 1962 and shortly after, joined the Naval Reserve, where he served until 1972. Al met his wife of 48 years, Vicki, at WT Grant Co. in 1968. They were married in May of 1970.
Al is also survived by his two children and their families. Their son Michael Holden, his wife Karen and their daughters Emily and Anna. Daughter Beth Rush, her husband Teddy and their sons Brandon and Adam. A younger brother, Larry R. Holden, his wife Diane, nephew Scott and his wife Gina and grandnieces Lyla and Clara. Additionally, he is survived by his in-laws, Frances and Richard Jaeger, and brother-in-law Rick Jaeger. She was his sidekick, and stuck by his side to the very end.

Vicki, Michael and Beth (and Larry, too): It might be too late for you to see this, but when I just now discovered that Bud had passed I had to express my condolences. Bud was one of my favorite people in the world when I was a kid. He was someone to look up to and emulate, just as his father was. His smile was contagious, a perfect mix of his parents. He was a wonderful man. My most profound sympathies are with you. I hope all the amazing memories you've shared over the years will hold you up now and always.
