C. Shriver Foster

C. Shriver Foster, 75, of Upperco, MD passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Bright View Westminster Ridge in Westminster, MD.
Born March 12, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late John Walter Smith Foster, Jr and French (née Shriver) Foster.
Shriver was a 1969 graduate of Franklin High School in Reisterstown, MD, after which he joined the Navy to see the world. He served during the Vietnam War in Aviation Structural Mechanics and re-enlisted in 1977. Some of his stations were in Spain, Florida, California, Philippines, Japan, and Patuxent River. Prior to retirement, he had worked in maintenance for the Branch Banking & Trust Company He enjoyed kayaking, tinkering with motors, and building things.
Surviving are his brothers, John W.S. Foster, III of Church Hill, MD and Lee French Foster of Saranac Lake, NY; and his significant other, Libby Luebberman of Upperco, MD.
A memorial service to celebrate Shriver's life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 15773 Dover Road, Upperco with Deacon Donald Helfer officiating.
