Cable Lamar Dees

Cable Lamar Dees of Clarksville passed away on March 29, 2025, at 81. He was born on September 16, 1943, to WC and Peggy Dees. Lamar was a farmer by trade and enjoyed deer hunting and cheering on his beloved Florida Gators. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Martina Goodman. Lamar leaves behind his sons, Scott (Linda) Dees of Clarksville, FL, and Marty (Erica) Dees of North Dakota; his daughters, Christina (Aaron) Ballard of Clarksville, FL, and Terri Holloway of Clarksville, FL; his grandchildren, Tyson, Matt, Jenna, Kyle, Brock, Jake, and Emily; and his brother, Lawrence (Donna) Dees of Blountstown. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be planned and announced next week. Arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home, Blountstown, FL.
