Caitlyn Mackenzie Arwood, 22 years old of Colbert, passed away on June 6, 2025 in Augusta.

Born on September 14, 2002, she was the beloved daughter of Philip and Michelle Guest and Jonathan D. Arwood. Caitlyn was a graduate of Madison County High School and she attended Augusta University and Augusta Technical College. Caitlyn had a desire to help others and planned to pursue a career in the Medical Field. She was a kind, compassionate, loving young woman. Caitlyn was known for loving her beloved boxer Carl, her family, friends, basketball and other sports. She was preceded in death by her brother, Connor Payne; grandmother, Crissy Sue Colquitt; aunt, Tara D. Colquitt and grandfather, Barry Lee Whitlock.

Caitlyn is survived by her parents, Philip, Michelle, Jonathan and siblings, Kimberly M. Beggs, Tyler Z. Guest, Hannah Puleo, Kyler and Talyn Payne and a wide circle of family and friends that will deeply miss her.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 16, 2025 at 11:00 am at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow in the Collier Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Sorrow, Hayden Colquitt, Blake Allen, Walker Parr, Dalton Graham and Scotty Willoughby. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
