Dewey Elliott "Elliott" Arwood

Dewey 'Elliott' Arwood was born on March 3, 1955 to the late Gladys Rachel Arwood and the late Dewey Wilson Arwood. As one of two sons, Mr. Arwood loved his family and cherished all the memories he could with them. Elliott was preceded in death by his granddaughter, the late Caitlyn Arwood.

Mr. Arwood found great joy in posting on his YouTube channel about hobbies and topics that interest him. He loved the music of Elvis Presley, driving the roads in his 1989 red Corvette, and thoroughly enjoyed the time he could spend with his family.

Surviving members of the family are his brother Edward Arwood of Walnut Grove, daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and David Rowe of Monroe; sons and daughter-in-law, Jonathan Arwood of Monroe, David and Jaime Watson of Loganville; his grandchildren whom he adored, Deanna and Larry Lackl of Hull, Brittani and Dustin Stone of Comer, Elliott Booth of Colbert, Bryan Booth of Comer, and Xander Watson of Loganvile. He was so proud of his 7 great grandchildren and loved them dearly.

A Celebration of Dewey's life will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Full Gospel Holiness Church in Walnut Grove, GA, at 2:00 pm. The family will hold a visitation prior to the service from 11:00 pm - 2:00 pm in the sanctuary of the church.
