Calden Francis, Sr. was a loving husband, father, grand-father and life-long friend. He carried many nicknames. To mention a few "Geronimo" and "Craig" brought light the community and family when mentioned. He loved music and a great time. As he grew older - his home was favorite place to be. You could either find him sitting on his porch with his brother and all of his neighborhood friends or in his little back house which was named "HOG HEAVEN" where all his memories were made and will forever be cherished. "Hog Heaven" was his saving grace! We knew where to find him. Our beloved will forever be in our hearts as he embarks his new journey with our Heavenly Father.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Ambroise Francis; sons, Merlin Francis, Michael Francis, Jarvis Francis, Calden Francis, Jr. and Wendell Francis; daughters, Cheryl Mitchell, Rhonda Broussard, Corita Andrus and Amy Williams; brothers, Aaron Flegeance and Jason Flegeance; sisters, Velma Johnson and Joann Degray; grandchildren; Kayla, Dana, Quincey, Brandon, Tamara, Whitney, Erica, Detra, Dimitris, Dashaun, Aaron, and Adrian; and a host of great-grandchildren.
