Caleb Moore, age 79, a resident of Lewisburg, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on June 8, 1946, in Campbell Station, Tennessee, Caleb was the son of the late Joe Moore and the late Annie Fitzpatrick Moore. He was a graduate of Jones High School class of 1964. He enjoyed working with his hands, which led to a career as an auto mechanic. He had an outgoing personality and was the life of the party. Known for playing jokes and spending time with his friends and family. Caleb will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son, Doug Allen, daughter, Bridgett Moore, brother, Josh Moore, sisters, Margaret Wilson, Rebecca Moore, Viola Brown, grandchildren, D’Andre Brown, Javion Brown, Sh’Cayla Porter, great grandchildren, Sienna Brown, Delainey Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Nanny Joe Lowery, Mary “Kate” Armstrong, Brownie Roan, Mattie Moore Braden, brothers, Johnny Fleming, William Moore, Willie Moore, son, Terell O’Neal, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
