Caleb was a second grader at Central Christian School. He was "all boy" and constantly on the go from climbing trees and playing outside with his friends to taking part in soccer, baseball, and swimming. Caleb loved Star Wars and building things, especially with Legos and on Minecraft. He treasured his cowboy boots, and wore them all the time, even with his shorts! Caleb was a member of CrossPoint Church, Hutchinson.

Caleb is survived by: his parents; Jeff and Erica Ropp; siblings, Lillian Finch, Laurell Ropp, Ellianna Ropp, and Tanner Ropp; maternal grandparents, Mike and Ruth Smith; paternal grandparents, Lyndon and Shirley Ropp, all of Hutchinson; great-grandmothers, Norma Lee Smith of Hutchinson and Sylvia Ropp of Kalona, IA; aunts and uncles, Jeremy and Alicia Smith of Haven, Travis and Bethany Smith of Manhattan, Alaina and Jeff Kaufman of Buhler, Jessica and Tanner Rayl of Hutchinson, Rachel and Ryan Steinert of Sterling, and Katherine Ropp of Hutchinson; and numerous cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025, with the family present to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
