Caleen M. Slaven was born, September 2, 1948 in Michigan to the late, Cal Beckner and Verlo Moesher Beckner. She passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at her residence in Hyden, Kentucky. She was 79 years old.
Caleen had been a resident of Hyden for the past 3 years coming from Covington, Kentucky. She was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her pets, watching tv and relaxing at home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Phillip W. Slaven & a host of other family. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 3 daughters, Charlotte Slaven, Meredith Barnes and Jackie Slaven, 2 brothers, Zane Annis and Weldon Reynolds, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
There will be no services.
