Cali Rose Jackson

Cali Rose Jackson, age 5 of Cape Carteret, passed away surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 23rd, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raliegh Road Pkwy, Wilson, NC, with Lisa D. Smith-Perri officiating. Visitation will follow the services.

Cali Rose was a special gift from God that came into this world and fought a brave fight. She touched many lives in just the short five years she was here on this Earth. Even though she could not walk, talk, or hold her head up, she would light up any room with her bright smile and personality. There was not a soul that didn’t love her, or her sweet laughs and giggles. Although her life on Earth was cut short, she is healed and in the hands of Jesus.

She is survived by her mother, Erica Quidley, and her fiancé Khyri Scott; sister, Brooklyn Rose; brother, D.J. “Buddy” Rose; grandparents, Ray and Lori Granberry; uncle, James Madison, and his wife Amanda; aunts, Lee Spurlin, Lilly Phuongly, and Kim Whitley, and her husband Michael; godparent, James “Kent” Madison; and many cousins and her Hilltop family. 

Preceding her in death are her grandfather, William “Bill” Quidley; and grandmothers, Dovie Batts and Nancy Nobles.
