Graveside funeral services celebrating the life of Callie Louise Arant Weatherford, 87, of Rocky Branch, Louisiana will be held at 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Rocky Branch Cemetery with Rev. Terry Poland officiating.
The visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Weatherford was born on June 27, 1938, in Monroe, Louisiana and entered the gates of Heaven on October 3, 2025.
Louise was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She loved cooking especially for her family during the holidays. She loved to travel especially to the beach, where she would sit on the balcony and listen to the waves. Louise loved and spoiled her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Weatherford; parents, William “Dub” and Callie Ouchley Arant; sons, Glen Langley and Michael Langley; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Pat Arant; grandson, Brandon J. Haynes; and nephew, Steve Arant.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are his son, William “Tommy” Langley; daughter, Kimberly Haynes and husband, Ted; stepchildren, Connie McMillan, Linda Gray, and Rueben Weatherford; sixteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
The pallbearers will be Jason Langley, Justin Haynes, Travis Haynes, Jeremy Langley, Mitchell Langley, and Michael Tyler Langley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lance Langley and Preston Lee Haynes.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Rocky Branch Volunteer Fire Department for their prompt and kind services during 911 emergencies. They would also like to thank the nurses, CNA, and staff of Compassus Hospice Care and the staff on the seventh floor at St. Francis Medical Center.
