Callie Shaver Bauserman

Callie Shaver Bauserman, 77, of Elkton passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at his home.
Callie was born September 23, 1948, in Harrisonburg, Virginia to the late Joseph M. and Nell Rogers Bauserman.
He was a 1967 graduate of Montevideo High School and had a Love for Christ, and a Love of NASCAR. He was a former member of the Elkton Volunteer Fire Company and Emergency Squad, and was a CPR Instructor along with his wife for many years. He loved shooting guns and playing cards, especially Spades, and was an active member of the Blue Ridge Independent Church. He worked at Virginia Truck Center and Truck Enterprises for many years before retiring. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Callie was a devoted husband, and an amazing dad, grandad and great-grandad who will be missed by all those who loved him.
On August 23, 1970, he married Carolyn Hensley Bauserman, who preceded him in death on July 6, 2009. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Bauserman.
He is survived by a son, Corrie S. Bauserman and wife, Kelly; a daughter, Bonnie Bauserman; brother, Roger Bauserman and wife, Carolyn; a sister, Nellie Powell; grandchildren, Timmy Sapp, Taylor Bauserman, and Tabitha Bauserman; great-grandchildren, Cara Sapp, Tatum Sapp, and Teagan Sapp.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. The casket will remain closed.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Blue Ridge Independent Church in Elkton, with Pastor Mike Bence officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.
