Calvin Barber Obituary
He was born in Ashland, KY on May 8, 1929 to Walter and Ruth Barber.
He was a graduate of Ashland High School Class of 1946, University of KY in 1950, and a Master's Degree from Xavier University in 1964.
He served in the Air Force 3½ years and then began working as an accountant at the General Office of Armco–AK. After 37½ years he retired in 1991.
He was an active member of Grace Baptist Church for 65 years. He enjoyed traveling with the Jolly 60's on many trips.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Maggie Horn Barber, son David (Linda) Barber.
Predeceased by parents and brothers, Ray Barber and Vernon Barber.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, OH 45005. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Gardens.
