Calvin Mann Obituary
A funeral procession will form on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 AM Saint Mary's Church.
Burial will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery.
Calvin C. Mann Jr., 74, of Lake Katrine died Thursday June 5, 2025 at HealthAlliance Hospital Mary's Avenue Campus with his loving family by his side. Born November 25, 1950 in Middletown, New York he was the son of the late Calvin C. and Frances (Budd) Mann Sr.
Calvin worked for SUNY New Paltz in the Maintenance Department. He also worked for the Ulster Country Highway Department and Miron Precast. Calvin enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to Elvis, County Music and doo-wop music. He was a diehard Redskin and Yankees fan. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and son and also spending time with his grandchildren. Calvin left a remarkable legacy for his three children by teaching them the importance of kindness, patience, resilience and the power of family.
Calvin is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years Colleen (Fogarty) Mann, his children Shawn Mann, Megan Rush and her husband Roger and Erin Easley and her husband Randy. Siblings Elaine Cipriani, Betty Jean Bonagura and her husband Tom, Lucilla Graziano, Norman and his wife Regina Mann and Jackie Sherwood and her husband Darrell, sister in laws Patrice Fogarty and Ann Petrelli and her husband Tom. Grandchildren Makari Mann CPL. US Army, Quincy Easley, Andraya Easley, Neomia Rush, Roger Rush, Kailee Rush, Symiah Rush, Emilian Rush, Senora Rush, Samara Rush, Alissia Rush, Eva Roseberry, Diane Roseberry-Smith, Nycere Soley and Isaiah Heil. Great grandchildren Damoni Rush and Willow Easley as well as many nieces and nephews also survive.
The family is eternally grateful for the care at HealthAlliance Hospital and Dr. Avutu and Sabrina of Sloan Kettering.
