Calvin McLeod Obituary
Born January 13, 1956, in Sumter, he was a son of the late John Henry McLeod and the late Ida Ellis Griffin McLeod. Mr. McLeod enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and spending time at the lake. He also enjoyed old cars and was extremely fond of his 1963 Ford Falcon Futura convertible, but his greatest love was his family.
Survivors include two sons, Derrick McLeod (Erin), and Casey McLeod; one grandson, Landon McLeod; one sister, Jennifer Grimsley (Bobby); one brother, Jeffrey McLeod (Jeanette); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd McLeod and a sister, Judy McLeod.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Pinewood Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Griffin and the Rev. Mitch Towery officiating.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, 2205 Walter Conyers Lane, Sumter.
