Calvin Leander Tuttle

Presque Isle- Calvin Tuttle, at the age of 96, passed away on March 5, 2024 due to declined health. Calvin was born in Presque Isle on August 29, 1927.
Calvin graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1947. He then began his career in sales with Aroostook Wholesales and Pepsi Cola Vending before working with his brothers in the Truck Brokerage Business and doing early morning deliveries for MPG Dairy. Calvin never missed a day of work, the dedication and work ethic he had was outstanding.
He married his high school sweetheart Peggy Hanna and together they raised three children Brenda, Rebecca, and Brian. After retirement he helped his wife with the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Calvin had a heart for helping other and gave 25 years to helping Martha Mary Soup Kitchen. He was a life time member of Grant Memorial Methodist Church.
Calvin Leaves behind his 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Peggy, a sister Jeannette, and brothers Andy, Gerry, and Ramie.
A graveside service is planned for the spring and will be announced at a later date.
