Calvin Urbanowitz Obituary

Calvin was working for the city of Loves Park as a plumbing/HVAC inspector and he really enjoyed working for the city. Before that, he was a proud member of the local 23 Plumber's and Pipefitter's Union since 1994. Calvin loved his creator, all people, animals and nature. He enjoyed collecting history memorabilia. Above all else, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Survived by his wife, Renee Urbanowitz; son, Gregory Calvin Urbanowitz; siblings, Anita Laney, Robert (Jayne) Urbanowitz, James (Kathryn) Urbanowitz, and Fredrick Urbanowitz; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his son, James Hall Urbanowitz and his brother, Charles Urbanowitz.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel - 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park with a memorial visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Following the service, the family would like to invite family and friends to Sam's Pizza on Harlem Road for a celebration of Calvin's life.
