Cheryl Ann (Montgomery) Calvert, 79, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 in Byron, IL. Born on December 15, 1945, Cheryl was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother whose presence brought warmth and love to those around her. She shared a beautiful life with her husband of 59 years, David Lee Calvert, and together they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. She was the devoted mother of Erik (Michelle) Calvert and Shane (Rian) Calvert. She was preceded in death by her son, David Scott Calvert. Cheryl's love extended to her grandchildren, Ciara, Brady, Trace, Sage, Dawson and Payton, who brought her immense joy throughout her life.
Cheryl had a passion for reading and could often be found immersed in a good book. She also loved shopping and spending time with her family, always treasuring the moments she shared with them. Her deep affection for Yorkies was well known; they were a constant source of happiness in her life. To those who knew her best, Cheryl was truly one of a kind. Her unwavering love for her family was evident in everything she did. Her sons held a special place in her heart; anyone that knew Cheryl would say that in her eyes, they could do no wrong. She fought bravely until the very end and will be forever missed by those who loved her most.
