Camelia Faye Harrell, age 81, of Greentop, Mo. passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Capital Region Medical Center.
Born on October 3, 1944, in Oakland, California, Camelia was the daughter of George and Nadene (Kenzie) Harding. She grew up in Brookings, Oregon, where she graduated from Brookings High School in 1962. On October 6, 1962, she married Roy Earl Harrell, in Brookings. Roy preceded her in death on October 29, 2023.
Camelia went on to earn her bachelor's degree from the Oregon College of Education. She devoted her life to her family as a homemaker and found great joy working as a substitute teacher-a role she truly loved.
In retirement, she and Roy relocated to Missouri to be closer to family. She was known as an excellent cook, baker, and gracious hostess, and she delighted in decorating for holidays, parties, and special events. Her warmth, creativity, and care for others will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Survivors include: her son, Roy Harrell (Tami) of McMinnville, Oregon; five grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one son.
Private services will be held by the family.
