Cameron Micah Rhodes-Jefferson, 24, of Augusta, GA, passed away on December 9, 2025.

Life and Legacy

Cameron was born on May 9, 2001, at Wynn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart, GA, to LaShanda Rhodes and Darnique' Jefferson. Though he spent the majority of his childhood in Savannah, he later moved to Augusta, where he graduated from Hephzibah High School in 2019. From an early age, Cameron displayed a remarkable creative aptitude and a friendly demeanor that, paired with his easy smile, left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Career and Passions

Cameron was a dedicated employee at Stokes Hodges Auto Group, where he worked as a detailer. Known by his colleagues as humorous, easy-going, and fun to be around, he brought a lighthearted energy to his workplace. Outside of his professional life, Cameron was an aspiring entrepreneur, pouring his energy into his upstart clothing line. He was also a skilled gamer who took great pride in building his own computer gaming systems from scratch.

Family and Fatherhood

While Cameron hadn't initially been in a rush to start a family, the moment he learned he was becoming a father, his passion for parenthood became his driving force. His son, Kayden, meant the world to him. Cameron will be remembered as a man of deep dedication who always ensured his family was cared for. He was a beloved son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Survivors

He is survived by his son, Kayden; Kayden's mother, Ny'Asia; his mother, LaShanda Rhodes; his father, Darnique' Jefferson; and his siblings, Craig, Jaz'min, Yomenica, and Ty'Shawn. He also leaves behind an extensive circle of extended family members and close friends.

Service Information

A memorial service to celebrate Cameron's life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Family Life Building, located at 1223 Laney-Walker Blvd, Augusta, GA. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. In honor of Cameron's favorite color, the family kindly requests that attendees incorporate blue into their attire.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
