Cameron Dean Staples, 21, of Indian Trail, North Carolina (formerly of Ellwood City, PA) passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 12 of natural causes.
He was born September 19, 2002 in Ellwood City, PA to Lenny and Stacy (Cooper) Staples.
Cameron was a true animal lover, especially when it came to his dogs Allie and Sydney. He loved his job as a dog care giver at Big Red's Bed and Biscuit. He loved cars and watching movies with his sisters. He attended Laurel Elementary School until moving to North Carolina where he attended Sun Valley Middle School and graduated from Penn Foster Academy.
He was a gentle soul with the biggest heart and most infectious smile, with a quirky sense of humor. He was a loyal friend, a protective brother and a loving son. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his mother and step-dad Mike Primerano, with whom he lived, father Lenny of New Castle, PA, sisters Cassie Staples (Justin Haswell) of Ellwood City, PA, Erica Staples and Jenna Staples of Indian Trail, North Carolina. Grandmother Gayle Staples of New Castle, PA, niece Blaire Haswell, nephews Ethan and Gavin Haswell, Uncles Earl Cooper and Larry Cooper, both of Ellwood City, PA, Aunt Sherry (Bob) Jones of New Castle, PA, Step Grandparents John and Karen Primerano of Matthews, North Carolina, step uncle Brian (Rebecca) Primerano of Stallings, North Carolina. Cousins Nicole (George) Richard, Amber (Jordan) Walls, Christopher (Amanda) Cooper, Bobby Jones, Dylan (Aubrey) Jones, John Michael and Annalee Primerano.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Dennis Staples, grandparents Harry and Carol Cooper, uncles Harry and Mark Cooper and aunt Donna Cooper.
Visitation will be held at Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City, Thursday December 21, from 1:00-3:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM with Pastor Ron Nagel officiating.
