Cameron Blake Taylor

With Heavy Hearts, we announce that Cameron "Cam" Blake Taylor, age 22 our most beloved son, brother, uncle, family member and friend passed away suddenly on Saturday March 2, 2024. Cameron was an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina of Pembroke. Those who knew Cameron, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Cameron will be missed everyday by his Mother, Lorie Taylor Strickland, his father, Tommy Strickland, his sisters, Candace Taylor and husband Sam Jones, Santana Patterson and husband Brandon Patterson, his brothers, Justin Taylor and his wife Jessica, Triston Strickland and his wife Nicole; grandparents, Linda and Curly Locklear; his nieces Paris Jones and Riley Patterson, his nephews, Brayden Patterson, "SJ" Barker, Landon Strickland, Channing Strickland, Jace Taylor, Joel Taylor, loving and a number one supporter Cynthia Taylor (Sissy) and Uncle Davis Lewis and wife Becky and his children, McKinna, Jaylen and Brett; a special young lady to Cameron and our family, Emily Scott; fraternity brothers, and many many great friends.
We know that Cameron is with his father Ricky Taylor and grandparents, Osborne and Sarah Taylor, Nancy Holmes and Rick Thornton. Cameron was a very passionate and strong-willed person that never backed down from a challenge. He was full of laughter and life. Everyone loved him, his smile would brighten up any room he walked in. He had the heart of a lion and a heart of gold and getting to know him would touch you in ways you had never known before. He was a person that would only let you see the good parts of life.
