Candace Joyce Ryan ObituaryIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Candace Joyce Ryan, who left us peacefully March 14th, 2025. Candace was born on February 21, 1952, in Ravenna, OH, to the late Alva Deemer, Butch and Sarah Claeys and later made her home in Akron, OH, where she lived her life with her loving late husband William Ryan Jr.
Candace was a devoted mother and homemaker, cherishing her time with family. She is survived by her loving children: son Keith Dunivan and his wife Cheri, daughter Angela Ryan and husband Fred Crane, and daughter Candace DeVoe. As well as her many grand and great grand children. Candace's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Candace was avid Cleveland sports fan from the Indians to the Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She knew about every player and every stat from each of the teams. She had a serious ritual for when the Browns played that she brought out every thing that had Browns on it and her outfit was Browns top to bottom to help them win their games.
In honor of Candace's life, a celebration of life will be held in the near future. Details about the gathering will be shared with her friends and family as we come together to celebrate the beautiful moments and memories she gifted us.
Those wishing to make donations in Candace's memory may send them to The Muscular Dystrophy Association. https://www.mda.org/ways-to-give?form=FUNKYVAJQKZ
