Ms. Candace Theresa Blaylock Shaw, 28, of Grenada, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Desoto in Southaven. Candace resided in Elliot, MS with her partner Roy 'Scooter" Cook. She was born in Grenada to Trina Fullilove and Johnny Mack Blaylock, Jr on November 5, 1993. She split her lifetime between Grenada, MS and Tulsa, OK with a few other spots sprinkled in between with Grenada always being home to her.
Candace is survived by three of the most beautiful, loving, and caring girls Chesney Grace, McKinley Wren and Bailee Rayne who will always miss their Mama. They will inspire change, encourage love and acceptance, and impact this world. They are world changers. They are her greatest accomplishment.
She is also survived by her parents Trina Fullilove and Tim of Tulsa, OK and Johnny Mack Blaylock, Jr and Sammie of Holcomb, Ms. Grandparents Julie Plummer, of Winona and John Byford of Coffeeville. She is also survived by her loving siblings Aaron, Wren, and Chloee. Candace also had numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, both by birth and that she adoptedthrough love that will carry this loss.
She is preceded in death by Maternal grandparents Elizabeth Spain Blount and Allen Fullilove and Paternal grandfather Johnny Blaylock, Sr.
Candace will always be remembered for her compassion for animals, love of the outdoors, and love for her family and friends even when she just couldn't show it.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. Family and friends will gather from 2:00 PM until service time Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.
