Candice is survived by her son, Adonnis Broken Rope; parents, Fred Yellow Boy and Arlene Broken Rope; hunka mother, Donna Whalen; hunka father, Russell Whalen, Jr.; brothers, Cory Yellow Boy, Antonio Yellow Boy, Harlan Hamilton, and Devin Hamilton; sisters, Tiana Hamilton and Wichoni Aquallo; hunka sisters, Andrea & Stephanie Rodriguez, Seaira Kroes, and Elaina Horse; grandmother, Gloria Sophia Yellow Boy; aunts, Janell (Frank) Raney, Cora and Michael Chapman, Easter Erickson, and Maxine Flores; uncles, Ernie Waters, Jr., Daryl Lee Waters, Jimmy Janis, Keith Janis, Stan Janis, Art Janis, Lamont Janis, and Darwin Janis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Candice was preceded in death by her children, Dontae Broken Rope and Athelia Whalen; paternal grandparents, Ernie Waters, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Merriatta Joan Janis and Thomas Carlisle Broken Rope; aunts, Crystal Waters, Barb Yellow Boy, Victoria White Magpie, and Jenny Waters; uncles, Jeffrey Janis, Christopher Janis, and Fredlyn "Donutz" Yellow Boy.
