She was the devoted wife of Alexander Huezo, loving mother of Lucas and Alexa, cherished daughter of Nelson & Bethzaida Figueroa, dear sister of Nelson & Veronica Figueroa, daughter-in-law of Carlos & Georgina Huezo, sister-in-law of Carlos & Jenna Huezo and Ana & Wesley Hartswell, and also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Although naturally shy, one of her many talents was in music and especially in singing. For those who were privileged with hearing her sing it was with such passion and inspiration. She imparted this passion to both her kids, planting the seed with her son and teaching him to play piano and as of recent singing her favorite songs with her daughter. A creative soul in every sense. This passion and talent will live on through her kids. She enjoyed traveling with her family and exploring the different things that New York had to offer. She imparted her love for photography to her husband. Both together loved to explore all the nooks and crannies of the city, from finding that beautiful stoop to the perfect autumn tree and the fresh snow fall in all the picturesque parks.
Candice was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness on January 1996. We keep her in our memories and are reminded of the inspiring words found at 1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14.
We thank you all for your continued love and support during this time of bereavement.

Candice and her husband Alex, together with the "kids", Alexa and Lucas, were so kind to host my family and I, at their home in a visit to NYC in January 2018.
It was a fantastic evening, which we all in my family remember as if it was today! It was the first time we met Candice and the kids, and we were delighted with their kindness and sense of hospitality, showing the lovely family they have.
We regret your early leaving from this world, but we´re sure you´ll be the lighting guide for Alexa, Luquitas and Alex for the rest of their lives.
Rest in Peace.
