Candice (Candy) Lurene Irons, age 78, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 29, 2026.
Born on August 21, 1947, in Muskegon, Michigan, Candice was the daughter of the late Kenneth Paul Hoag and Evelyn Madge Hoag. She lived a life centered on love, family, and service to others.
Candice was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for her family. She was known for her generous spirit, always putting others before herself. In her quiet moments, she found happiness in painting, crafting, and baking, often sharing her creations with those she loved. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and welcome to all who entered.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur Irons; her children, Beverly (Steve) Lipham and Jennifer (Terry) Crocker; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy (Barry) Lemons and Jackie Hoag; and her brothers, Robert (Rita) Hoag and James (Jennifer) Hoag.
In addition to her parents, Candice was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Paul Hoag, Jr. and Stephen Louis Hoag, Sr.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Gallatin (205 E. Main St.).

Candice will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
