Candice Lakey Obituary

Despite her struggles and illness, she consistently found humor in everyday life. Her legacy will include her infectious laughter and her oft-repeated phrase, "Lord, love a duck!!!". Her absence will be felt in the hearts of all that loved her.
Candice is survived by her parents, Clell Lakey and Joyce Plumb, five sisters and 1 brother, her long-time partner of 20 years, Frank Holmes, her 7 children: Christopher, Timothy, Wynaka, Amber, Joseph, Cynthia and William, multiple grandchildren, extended family and a large host of friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Shane Lakey and the father of her children, Fredrick Choates.
