Candy Marie Corty

Candy Marie Corty passed away after a long battle with an unidentified illness on December 22nd, 2024 at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Candy was born in York, Pennsylvania to Mariea Cayer on January 15, 1976. During her life, Candy lived in many states, but she always considered Alaska her home, often commenting on the rolling mountains and expansive wilderness and reflecting on their peaceful and beautiful qualities.
Candy met Brian Corty in 1994, they were married in 1995, together they had three children; Cheyenne, Megan, and Noah.
She is survived by her husband, their three children, her dog Drogon, her younger brother, several cousins, and her aunt. She is preceded in death by her mother and grandmother.
Candy was a writer, a jeweler, an herbalist, wife, and mother. She poured her heart into every endeavor, and despite her own hardships she always readily gave her love to her friends and family. She is dearly missed.
