Candy Beatrice Letson, 54, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Ramon Randolph officiating. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.

Born on May 28, 1970 to the late Billy and Linda Flannigan Crosslin, Candy will be remembered as the lady that lived by the sweetness of her name. She enjoyed spending time with her flowers and feeding the hummingbirds. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Shelby Letson, Sr.; sons, Cody (Kayla) Letson, Dylan Letson, and Shelby Letson, Jr.; grandchildren, Skylar (Breanna) Letson, Jayden Letson, Kamryn Letson, Nylah Rose Letson, and Carter Letson; great-grandchildren, Samuel Letson, and Liam Letson; sisters, Renea (Donald) Purser, and Regina Kay (Nathan) Lee; brother, Guy Crosslin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Candy was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sonya Terry.

Pallbearers will be Howard Letson, Billy Letson, Daniel DeVaney, Cody Morgan, Anthony West, and Quinton West.
