Carl Betz Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl William Betz, a beloved husband and father, who departed this life on April 14, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on April 26, 1958, in Freeport, NY, Carl spent his life in the Farmingville community, where he was known for his kind heart and unwavering spirit.
Carl is survived by his wife, Patricia Knecht, and his cherished son, Dakota Betz. His family, friends, and all who knew him will fondly remember his warmth, humor, and the love he had for those around him.
Carl faced many challenges throughout his life, navigating the world with resilience as he dealt with his disability. He showed us all what it means to love unconditionally and to cherish every moment, teaching us to appreciate the simple joys in life.
A prayer service will be held to honor Carl's memory on April 18, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Moloney's Holbrook Funeral Home. Prior to the prayer service, there will be a visitation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM allowing friends and family to pay their respects and celebrate the life of this remarkable man.
In this time of mourning, let us remember Carl for the love he shared and the laughter he brought into our lives. He will be deeply missed but will forever live on in our hearts.
