Carl Thomas Bolyard

Carl Thomas Bolyard, age 70, of Ramsey, IL, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Carl was born July 28, 1955 in Ramsey, IL the son of John Leroy Bolyard Sr. and Virginia Alice (Pritchett) Bolyard. He married Patricia Ann Graeser on February 14, 1984 in Bayle City, IL. Carl was a tractor mechanic for many years and then was a truck driver before he retired. He also farmed, and quite enjoyed working on farm equipment. He could always be found tinkering in his garage. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved his pets.

He is survived by his wife; Patricia "Pat" Bolyard, his children; Melissa (Steve) Adams of Vandalia, IL, Bobby (Dawn) Evans II of Pensacola, FL, and Tracy (Ryan) Perry of Flora, IL, his 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and his siblings; Diane, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, Steve, Robert, Patty, and Karen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, his brothers; John and Jim, and his sister; Virginia Lee.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the family.
