Carl D. Bratton

Carl David Bratton, 87, of Parma Heights was preceded in death by his parents Clyde E and Elsie L (née Wagner), his brother Clyde Bud and wife Barbara J (née Papp). He is survived by his daughters Kimberly Kollecker and Stacy Bratton and grandsons Donald and Daniel Kollecker. He is also survived by Barbara's children Renee Hall, Debra (David) Fleming, Sheri Machado, Mark Hall and Holly Hall; grandchildren Mariah, Brandon, Zachary, Daniel, Nicole, Kaylee, Owen and Josie; and great grandchild Ka'leah. He was born in Canton and graduated from Parma Schaaf High School in 1953. He served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957 and the reserves until 1961. He married Gloria J Benz (née Clark) in 1958. He worked at API, Sears and Walmart. He was an avid train enthusiast and enjoyed wood working, drawing and painting with over 150 framed works of his art hanging in his apartment. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to American Heart Association. The family will receive friends Friday Jan. 6, 2023 from 4-6 PM with closing service at6 PM at at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home 99 W.
