Mr. Caneega was born on July 24, 1963, in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Carl Caneega and Jeanette Brantley Caneega. He was retired from Imerys. He was of the Christian Faith. Mr. Caneega passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Fairview Park Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy Garnto Caneega of Wrightsville; two daughters, Kaitlin Caneega of North Augusta, SC and Carly Caneega of Wrightsville; three brothers, Wayne (Debra) McCary of Wrightsville, Dawton McCary of East Dublin, and Mark (Kim) Caneega of Wrightsville; two sisters, Sandra Wilkerson of Wrightsville and Patricia Alligood of Wrightsville.
Pallbearers will be Brad Caneega, John Halbert, Dan Alligood, Chad McCary, Terrell Brantley, and Jody Garnto.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the funeral home.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
