Carl Kenton Denoff, affectionately known as "Kent," passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 75. Born on August 31, 1949, in Fayetteville, West Virginia, Kent lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his work, and his country.
Kent served his nation proudly as an Army veteran, embodying the values of honor and commitment throughout his life. Following his service, he embarked on a long and fulfilling career as a Press Technician in the printing industry, where he excelled for over 30 years. Known for his keen intellect and interest in technology, Kent was always ready to embrace new innovations, reflecting his passion for learning and growth.
Though not one for hobbies, Kent found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as reading and spending cherished moments with his family. Despite being a private individual, his witty personality left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.
Kent is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Carl and Colleen Denoff; and his sister, Cherlyn Paul of Ohio. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Cathy (Calvert) Denoff; his son, Andrew Denoff, and daughter-in-law Megan; and his adored granddaughter, Charlotte "Charly" Denoff. He is also survived by his brother, Mark Denoff, and sister-in-law Deborah of Rural Hall; along with a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
A memorial service to celebrate Kent's life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 2 p.m., at Triad Cremation & Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of The Piedmont, honoring Kent's spirit of compassion and care.
Kent Denoff will be remembered for his unwavering integrity, his deep love for his family, and his enduring wit. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of those he touched.
