Carl Edward "Eddie" Hubbs, Jr. passed away at his home on June 10, 2024.

Among loved ones who preceded him in death, are the grandparents who raised him, Elvin Tyler "ET" Hubbs & Della Aura Long Hubbs; his father, Carl E. Hubbs, Sr.; mother, Jackie Shannon Vingoel; and several beloved aunts & uncles.

Eddie was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church; and retired after a career with Robertshaw Controls. He was also a 1961 graduate of Holston High School in Knox County.  Eddie loved to witness his faith, play golf, and work in his flower garden.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Patsy Flynn Hubbs; his daughter and "Sweet Punkin", Shannon Estep; grandchildren, Zackariah and Amanda Wollard of Blaine, Samantha Wollard & Ezekiel Wollard of Knoxville; and one great-grandson, "Little Man" Jaxton Wollard; brother, Roger (Wanda) Henderson of Vonore; sister, Jackie (Bob) Payne of Princeton, Texas; special friends, Danielle Haas & Pat Hoover; and his golfing buddy, Ed Cole.

The family is deeply grateful for the support of friends and family.

Rev. Danny Neal will officiate a private graveside service; which will take place, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge.
