Adam Dewayne Gass, age 46 of New Market, passed away Sunday morning, July 20, 2025.
He will be remembered as a family man who loved music and being outdoors. He worked as a maintenance technician for HOA Management of Knoxville; and loved his job. He was a member of Dumplin Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burl & Agnes Cate and Clarence & Beulah Gass; as well as his aunts, Emily Blake & Sandra Massengill. He is survived by his wife (& best friend), Rachael Dyer-Gass; stepchildren, Samantha, Lillian, & Emily Goin; parents, Donald & Dianne Gass; sister, Michelle Gass; aunt, Berlyn "Aunt Faye" Cate; several cousins, nieces & nephews, extended family and friends.
Rev. Robert Holt & Dr. Don McIntyre will officiate the funeral service, which will take place at 7PM Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Dumplin Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service. Interment will be at 1PM Monday, July 28, 2025 in the Cate Cemetery.
