Carl Anfred Haggstrom

CARL ANFRED HAGGSTROM – Carl A Haggstrom, 89, passed away August 25, 2023, in Round Rock, Texas. He was born February 22, 1934 in Tacoma, Washington, the son of Carl B and Ethel J (Larson) Haggstrom.
Carl graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, class of 1952. Following graduation, he joined the US Air Force. During his time of military service he married the love of his life, Linda Ann Shannon, and settled in Round Rock, Texas after 22 years in service. Carl then worked for the University of Texas at Austin, Chilling Station, and retired after 22 years. Carl and Linda have been married 61 years in September this year.
In addition to his parents, Carl and Ethel, he was preceded in death by a son, Carl Anfred (Andy) Jr. Surviving family in addition to his wife, Linda Haggstrom of Round Rock, Texas, are their sons, Thomas Haggstrom and wife Cari of Florence, Texas, and Kenneth Haggstrom and wife Toni of Killeen, Texas; Eight Grandchildren, Stephanie Hanson and husband Randy, Kenneth Haggstrom Jr and wife Samantha, David Haggstrom, Bray Haggstrom and wife Analeise, Derek Haggstrom, Tarin Espinosa and husband Jose, Jake Haggstrom, and Valerie Haggstrom; one brother, Roy Haggstrom of Lake View, Washington; one sister, Ruby Davis-Reed and husband Tony of Mason Lake, Washington; many nephews, nieces, and great grandchildren.
Internment will be held at 9 a.m., Friday September 8, 2023 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 11463 State Highway 195 in Killeen, Texas 76542, with military honors. Following internment, a Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Tabernacle of Florence, 1192 N Patterson Ave, Florence, Texas 76527.
